A
ended her track season a few weeks back with a small track party, and
it was emblematic of the entire season in that not too many kids took
part. Kind of sad, but it was a fun time. The kids who ran the show
were college students and it was nice of them to take the time to do
it. This time around only a few kids signed up, and even that group
dropped off over time.
They
had some cake and ice cream, and since not that many people showed
up, it meant lots for everyone, even though most of it was kind of
nasty, it didn't look very appealing. Oh well, make the most of what
you got, right? It was fun, the season is over, and we have the rest
of summer to look forward to.
