Okay, I don't know what is going on, but the heat has been excruciating, and there is no end in sight. Usually we get a day or two of intense heat that precedes a massive thunderstorm, but no such luck. Just day after day of intensely hot days. What is going on? I have to confess, I can't take it. It reminds me of Vegas, which is a brutal place to be on so many levels.Fortunately there are ponds and lakes nearby, but I'm wondering what the rest of summer is going to be like. It's only early July, after all.
