We planted our garden, and right
on the heels of the massive heat wave, so I hope the plants are okay. What was
cool was that N helped me get the tomatoes into the ground, and we even had fun
doing it. It just goes to show you that you can enjoy time with your kids even
when it involves practical matters. N even commented that he enjoyed planting,
and he especially likes working the water lines and watering the plants. Now
all the stuff is in the ground and we can just let it ride. My kind of
gardening.
As it stands, we planted about a
dozen tomato plants, and some squash and peppers. There’s still room for more,
and I know R planted peas, so this summer should be good, at least for
tomatoes.
