August is our birthday month, and we’ve decided that rather than ignore it like we did last year, or for that matter, like my mom and brother do every year, we thought it would be nice to do something fun and out of the ordinary. At the very least, we’d like it if we didn’t make dumplings, though blowing it off comes back to haunt us. R had taken it upon herself to plan a trip of some sort, though where to becomes the issue. The beach sounds nice, or a lake. Then again, there are lots of hidden pockets throughout the Twin States that are worth a visit, so we shall see. I like the idea of staying in a hotel and not having to cook or clean.
