Rainy Days and Mondays

We talked about our dry Summer, but it then rained for two days straight. We needed it, I’m not complaining (sort of), but it makes it hard to do things outside. Then again, there’s plenty to do inside. The kids had their friends over and they hung out and had fun while I made meals and stuff for the market. As we know well enough, you can never prepare too early for the market. This week will be especially complicated because we have our birthdays next week, and we vowed not to make dumplings on our birthday. Is that so unreasonable?
