A couple of weeks back A had her
end of season team party, and luckily for us, a few of her teammates have
siblings that are N’s teammates, as well, so N got to join the fun and hang
with the boys. It worked out beautifully.
She is also the bionic organizer, and gets things done. She set up this party at a place in Killington that had a skating rink so the kids could play pond hockey for their last hurrah. Then it was off to the pizza party. It was a great event, and a fun time was had by all. Best of all, A was reunited with her hockey buddies, whom I think she misses, and N got to hang with the guys. I didn’t have to do much other than drive and eat, which is my kind of gig.
First off, kudos to KG for setting
it all up. She is an amazing uber-team parent who has done so much for the team
and being the young and hip woman that she is, really understands and relates
to the girls. I think it works out beautifully. She did a great job of
organizing social things for the team, and was just there for them and
understands what it means to be a young girl at this age.

Hockey isn’t completely over yet,
and I still think we’ll miss is when it’s over, but for now, we’ll keep
plugging along.
Until the next time, thanks for
reading, and thanks to JETfri for the pic.
