We made it to what turned out to be the final Friday night regular season game of the women’s hockey team at Dartmouth. They were playing Yale, who is pretty low in the standings, so I think Dartmouth was feeling a little comfortable. Since Yale isn’t such a big draw, it was empty as usual, which meant that we had a greater chance of winning free stuff. Sure enough, we scored a t-shirt and a free plane ticket on Cape Air, our second one. Now all we need is two more and we can fly as a family. Then again, the season is over, so that’s not going to happen for at least 9 months. Oh well, we don’t have plans to go to NYC any time soon.
It was one of those crazy Fridays on our end, with too much scheduled as usual. A had chorus rehearsal and then we opted for homeschool hockey over story hour. HS hockey was fun, though a bit draining, and possibly our last go around of it. Hockey season is definitely winding down. After the game, we headed over the library to meet mom, then had our customary Boloco burritos, then off to the game. It’s a long day, exacerbated by the fact that we had a full; day of things to do on Saturday, as well. No rest for the weary, as the saying goes.
Until the next time, thanks for reading, and thanks to No Name No. 5 for the pic.
