In a funny instance of, “I just had to ask,” I asked the kids to go through this massive cookie cookbook that we have and pick out some of the recipes that looked good. They spent the entire morning perusing the selections and marking the pages with small post-it notes, and ended up marking almost every page. Sometimes kids are so cute and endearing, it breaks your heart. Now we have the gargantuan task of trying out all those cookies, but at least the end result is worth the effort.
